Nowadays, emergency lighting involving security is getting more and more attention. Most of China's LED light source products are sold to the international market. At present, both the international market and the domestic market pay more and more attention to lighting safety, especially in public places, which need to install a considerable proportion of emergency lighting fixtures, which can continue to illuminate for several hours after power failure, so LED emergency Power Supply has its place. . I often ask guests, I installed LED emergency power supply, then the original drive power is still used?
This should be answered after specific analysis:
1. Some LED emergency power products, after power failure, invert the energy stored in the battery pack into the mains 80--280V, equivalent to the continuation of the mains, then the drive power must exist, because this emergency power supply is also driven A constant current source is used to illuminate the LED luminaire.
2, some LED emergency power products, such as 168-30 series products, the output after power failure is DC low voltage, it can automatically identify the serial number of lamps, the output voltage is generally adjusted between 20--80V, when there is electricity It charges and stores the battery pack, and lights up the LED fixture after power failure. In this case, if the luminaire is only used for emergency lights, and the mains illumination is not needed, the LED constant current source can be cancelled.
3 If the LED light source needs illumination during mains supply and illumination is required during power failure, the drive power supply must be present.
4. During the lighting process of the mains, the emergency power supply continuously supplies the battery pack. In the state of the mains, it will not drive the lighting; after the battery pack is saturated, the charging current of the emergency power supply is transferred to the charging or micro-charging state. To compensate for the self-discharge of the battery pack, the emergency power supply does not affect the normal lighting function of the LED light source;
5. The LED light source used solely for emergency lighting can be driven without a constant current source. The premise is that no lighting is required in the mains state and only in the event of a power outage. This situation must be fully understood before purchase;
6. If the user arbitrarily cancels the driving power and installs the LED light source directly on the LED emergency power output port, the most likely condition is that the high voltage (110V or 220V) of the LED emergency power output will burn the light board or the lamp bead. .
7. At present, due to many limitations, the drive power and emergency power cannot be integrated in the same board. Moreover, it is very important that the light source used for emergency lighting after power failure is still too small, and is limited by power, structure and other factors, and the integrated power Transformer board is still not mature.
